DEPARTMENT OF ORTHODONTICS AND DENTOFACIAL ORTHOPEDICS

The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is your partner in crafting a beautiful and functional smile. We utilize advanced technology like 3D scans and digital X-rays to design personalized treatment plans, offering options like traditional braces, clear aligners, and even functional appliances for young patients. Our focus extends beyond aesthetics – we ensure proper bite function and a balanced smile that complements your features. We believe a straight smile goes beyond looks; it boosts confidence, improves oral health by making teeth easier to clean, and enhances chewing and speech. Orthodontic treatment is an investment in your long-term well-being, and our department is here to guide you every step of the way, from diagnosis to post-treatment retainers for a lifetime of smiles.

Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics are the dream team for your smile. Orthodontics acts like a skilled architect, using braces and aligners to meticulously move teeth into their ideal positions for a straighter, more aesthetically pleasing smile, and addressing minor jaw issues. Dentofacial orthopedics, on the other hand, is the foundation contractor. It focuses on guiding jawbone growth, especially in young patients, using specialized appliances to create space for erupting teeth or correct significant jaw discrepancies that braces can't handle alone. In some cases, it might even collaborate with surgery for complex corrections. By working together, they create beautiful smiles not just by straightening teeth, but by ensuring proper jaw development and bite function, leading to a lifetime of oral health and confidence.

A career in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics offers a rewarding path for dentists passionate about creating beautiful smiles and achieving optimal oral health.
